This course is designed for those officers that are currently assigned to courts in a security setting.  Upon completion of this course the officer will have a basic understanding of the threats associated with court settings as well as technology and techniques for court security operations in compliance with Government Sec. 158.002.


The instructor for this course is Robby Rudder who is a 25-year law enforcement veteran. Robbie has served with the Tarleton State University Police Department and the Stephenville Police Department where Robbie obtained the rank of Lieutenant before retiring.  Robbie is currently assigned to the 266th Judicial District Court of Erath County as the Court Bailiff.  Robby is a Court Security Specialist, a Master Peace Officer, and has over 5,000 continuing education training hours with TCOLE.  


The course consists of 8 hours of classroom instruction.


The course will be taught March 2, 2023 from 8 AM – 5 PM and March 23, 2023 from 8 AM – 5 PM
