ERATH COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR OFFICE PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT


ln an effort to reduce the need for in-person transactions and to help limit the number of customers in our lobbies the Erath County Tax Assessor-Collector urges taxpayers to take advantage of alternative ways to handle your transactions. "lt is important to me that we do everything we can to keep our customers and staff safe from COVID-19 exposures" said Jennifer Carey. 


Gov. Greg Abbott, working with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, is waiving late penalties for title applications and expired placards for persons with disabilities, and law enforcement also will temporarily refrain from ticketing vehicles with expired registration stickers for those who are unable to renew. 


Alternative Payment Options (RECOMMENDED):

  • Online tax payments can be made by visiting https://texaspayments.com/. Convenience fee for credit/debit cards is 3.2%. "GDS Houston" is what will show up on your bank/credit card statement because the vendor we use is located in Houston, TX. You can also do an e-check for a $5.00 fee.

  • Online Vehicle Registration Renewals can be done online at https://texas.gov/

  • Drop Boxes located outside front doors at 320 West College, Stephenville, TX and our Sub-station located at 219 S Grafton, Dublin, TX.

  • Mail ln Payments can be sent to 320 West College, Stephenville, TX 76401 or 219 S Grafton, Dublin, TX 76446. The US Postmark date of your payment will be the controlling date for your payment.
